- Door leaves are primed only for top finishing coats of paint by others, or primed and painted in the factory.

Veneer range comprises, OAK, ASH, MAHOGANY, BEECH, CHERRY, WALNUT, MAPLE. Other timber veneers available on request.
- Polyurethane lacquer, clear.
Light timbers may be stained to colour before application of clear lacquer.

- In general, the maximum total area of glass fitted to FR 60/60 door leaves is to be 0.2 sq. m per pane.
Two panes of this size may be fitted to type B aperture consistant with the following:-
- No edge of any pane of glass should be closer than 150 mm to the edge of the door leaf.
- When more than one pane of glass is fitted, the distance between the edges of adjacent panes shall not be less than 150 mm.
